Subprocessors and Vendors

Current public-facing vendor and subprocessor list

This page provides a draft transparency list of material vendors and subprocessors currently reflected in the repository, infrastructure documentation, or service design.

Effective date: April 6, 2026

Last updated: April 6, 2026

Document version: Draft v1.1

Purpose of this page

Districts and procurement reviewers often ask for a public subprocessor or vendor list. This page is intended to show the providers that are currently documented in the repository or related deployment materials, while making clear where a vendor is only planned, conditional, or not yet finalized for production use.

Currently documented in code or deployment docs

Hostinger VPS

Expected infrastructure host for the documented deployment environment

Documented deployment environment

Coolify

Deployment orchestration and reverse-proxy management for the documented multi-service environment

Documented deployment environment

OpenAI

Beacon assistant functionality and internal content-generation workflows. Covered student data is not intended to be submitted through Beacon, and any district-level prompt context should be limited to non-student operational questions.

Documented assistant and internal workflow dependency

Resend

Transactional email delivery for password reset, rollout onboarding invitation, and rollout review confirmation workflows when enabled in production

Documented production email delivery dependency

Conditional, planned, or not yet finalized

Stripe

Referenced in payment-related schema and onboarding payment options, but final production payment usage is not confirmed on this public page

Conditional / not finalized

Important limitations

This is a draft transparency page, not a final contractual subprocessor schedule. It is based on current repository evidence and documented deployment assumptions, not a final legal certification of production vendor usage. Before launch, Chart-Ed should confirm the final production hosting environment, payment providers, support tooling, email vendors, analytics usage, and any other subprocessors that handle customer or student-related data.

Assistant or AI-related entries on this page should be read together with Chart-Ed product guardrails. Beacon is intended for district, school, and class operational support questions. Users should not submit student identifiers, learner-level results, roster files, or credentials into those prompts.
